Exclusions

These benefits will not duplicate any other benefits. It is especially important to read your plan documents. Read the exclusions to understand what will disqualify travelers from 24-Hour AD&D benefits.

Loss of Limb or Limbs

If you lose a limb or limbs, that means severance at or above the wrist joint or ankle joint respectively.

Loss of Life

Benefits will be paid up to 100% of Principal Sum for loss of life.

Exposure and Disappearance

If you are unavoidably exposed to the elements because of a covered accident occurring during your trip, you are eligible for AD&D coverage. The loss must occur within 365 days of the event that caused the exposure.

If you are in an accident resulting in the disappearance while insured, and your body is not found within 52 weeks from the date of the accident, it will be presumed, unless there is evidence to the contrary that you suffered loss of life as a result of those injuries.
